Naga Cuisine

Rovi Chasie is a pioneer in the area of creating innovative recipes using Naga food ingredients. A graduate from the IHM Pusa, New Delhi, she did her Management Training with the Ashok group of hotels, ITDC and was the member of the Indian Prime Minister's catering team. She passed her B.A. English honours from Loreto College Darjeeling.

Since 1990 she has been involved in conducting training in areas of cooking, baking, food preservation, food service, etc. In 2014, she was awarded the Tenyimia Women Union's "Highest Achievers" prize in the category of food for the promotion of Naga Cuisine.
