"The book Tenyidie Tone offers a wide-ranging account of the systematic changes to the tonal aspect of pronunciation that can be observed across various word-formation processes and morphological configurations." Dr Yuni Kim, University of Surrey, UK
This is the first book published dedicated specially to the tones of the language of Tenyidie, and is one of the first in linguistics in the language area. The book takes both a documentary as well as a structural approach to the exhibition of the tones and other linguistic data in Tenyidie, and provides pioneering insights to the tonal grammar of the language, while also analysing the morphological structure which in turn largely informs the tonal grammar.
