The Yellow Dress

With stories that shift from the innocence of childhood to the realities of adult life, The Yellow Dress is an outcome of the author's own childhood experiences and memories interwoven with fictional elements besides stories that are derived from dreams, perhaps to say that sometimes when the unknown forces of the Universe try to communicate with us through our dreams, they do tell wonderful stories.

Inakali Assumi received her M.A and M.Phil degree in English Literature from ICFAI University
Nagaland and is currently pursuing Ph.D from Nagaland University under the Department of
English. Her debut book entitled "Potpourri Poesy which she co-authored with her friend, Soyimla Akum was published in 2018 by Cyberwit Publication. She currently works as an Assistant Professor at St. John College, Dimapur. In 2016, she also won the award for best objective poetry at the Magnum Opus Music and Art Festival.
