Weeping Willow

In Weeping Willow, Kezhakielie Whiso writes about death and mourning, particularly that of his Grandmother. While the poems in the first two sections are very personal and mainly circulate the theme of loss and pain of separation, the element of hope and comfort is unmistakable in the third section. The poet is perhaps ‘back’ in an ordinary, everyday world in the fourth section.
